A Life Worth Living

If you question whether life is worth it,
If you wonder where are your friends,
If you think you simply can't forgive,
Sit back, and think again.
I once reached a decision
Where I chose to die or live.
My report I retort:
The latter is better
Than that gloomy alternative.
Love yourself so that you may be
Loved in return by your friends.
Forgive yourself so that life may be
Worth living to all ends.
I offer you the wish of a loving smile,
I've learned it's okay to be sad.
Worries may last, but for only a while.
Nothing remains eternally bad.
That person in the mirror really does love you,
So give a wink, blow a kiss and say,
"I have faith in myself and I'm gonna get through
'Cause hot-diggity-dog I'm okay!"
