Secrets of a Honeybee

Age Group: Adult
There once was but an insect,
'Twas a little bitty bee
She buzzed around the flower field
And landed near a tree.
And in this tree so tall and grand
She found a ripened peach
And in this peach a juice so sweet
She had to sample each.
Returned in moments to the hive
To let her sisters know
The place of ripened peachy fruit
Within that tree did grow.
In time there was a vast amount
Of honey that hive fared;
For no knowledge is priveleged,
To all it must be shared.
And yet this little busy bee
Witheld one sole confession;
She tempered all her honesty
With just enough discretion.
At least this one thing of herself
No other had to know;
So never need she ever tell
Another living soul.
