Broken Need

We met without a warning
And soon in love we fell
For once my life seemed perfect
As anyone could tell
But then that one day came,
One I hoped to never find
Sad memories forever blurry
Of why you changed your mind
I shall suffer from your absence
But my heart won't always bleed;
And though I will always love you,
Time will fade this broken need.
