Christmas, Regardless of Religion

Christmas is a thing
That I once understood
Be awful, and get nothing
Get gifts if you are good.
I don't think that way now
I think I know the deal
No matter what religion,
Share time with love that's real.
Author's Notes: Well, it's a standard tradition around these parts. I don't mind sharing it, no mmater what its basis may be. All I care about is the time spent tgether wiith someone I love. He can celebrate Jesus (whom I adore, I might add) , and I can celebrate the older traditions of why the decorated tree is there in the first place.
