Simply Be

The world is such a horrible place
When you fake what you feel inside
Expression is vital to who you are
It is not for attention or pride
We all have a story we need to tell
Let your words flow clearly and free
Don't recycle the fear, shame, anger, your hell;
Let yourself be known, simply be.
Author's Notes: All people who express in any way have legitimate reasons for doing so. We defeat ourselves if we lie to the world pretending everything is just fine, if in fact, it is not.
We must harm none, and we must not target people publicly, but we have every right in the world to express what we feel when we are feeling it.
This poetry forum is a good place to express who you are and what you feel. It is a public journal of your life. Target and harm no one, but EXPRESS with ALL of your heart, mind and soul. Don't worry about rules and regulations of poetry. JUST WRITE.
We hear, and we help each other heal. Let's practice healing instead of privately and internally in isolation recycling what hurts us the most in silence. Let us also rejoice in what we find reason to live to the fullest.
