A Call To The Blessed Mother

by Thomas Harris
 Age Group: Adult

(tune: Londonderry Aire)
Aye, Mother Mine, may You come nigh and come softly. Come, Opened Arms, cast imbas wild and free. Aye, Mother Mine, come ever sweet upon the gentle breeze. Come, Opened Arms, and gentle embrace me. As the flame of needfire to gilt Heaven grows, And Word in pow'r is sung to age-old tunes Wrap Your Blessed arms around me, For I know You know the child that I am.
