Faith in Love (for a change)

Love has no boundaries
But surely does my life
As tenderness always flees
Through all conflicts of life
Yet still I see in you
A reason to never part
Somehow you love me too
I can feel it from your heart
So why must I question so
As I've always done before,
When this time I surely know
I am loved more than ever before?
From my kitten I will observe
That love can be far more than ample
Though I have never trusted with verve
Just this once, I'll follow example.
Author's Notes: My two kittens seem to love me unconditionally. They are not afraid to barge into whatever I'm doing. They step on my papers, they lay on top of the book I'm trying to read, they even crawl on top of me when I am trying to sleep. Except now, I welcome it, and would feel lost without them, just as I would be lost without the pillow I've always had between my knees since childhood. Not the same pillow, silly!
Either I am spoiling them, or maybe I should follow the example that they love me too, and maybe I should let someone else love me like they do. I can dish love out, I just can't take it back. Well, I'm in the process of learning what love means. If my kitten-cats love me so much, maybe that means there is something in me I should acknowledge as lovable and deserving of love? For once, I think it does mean that.
