Lamentations of Mormon Stupidity, Part 2

by Phronesus Disegno
 Age Group: Adult

I already have a cat-ma Though your dog-ma comes so soon It irritates my cat-ma Just to satisfy your boon.
So if I go one day to Hell, And this thought is laughingly odd, It would be from embracing fear And from worshipping your Mormon God.
But that isn't going to happen, For God is so much more, you see You say His love has no conditions But ignore what you say can't be...
Then perhaps I have done what I can, And it's your choice to never hear; From the outside, mine eyes have seen! You have chosen your life of fear.
And so I too choose mine, I'll return your judgement in kind -- It is "you" following your own "evil one", An imagined construct in your mind.
Author's Notes: Normally I would write a poem that expresses my feelings without any direct reference to any particular religion, especially since Christianity alone has only 38, 000 variants from its own self-conquering and self-division. But the Mormon religion isn't even 200 years old yet, and only as recent as 1978 did it "allow" Black Men (still no women) to become priests. There is a Biblical reference to Jesus vomiting. I think Jesus is vomiting because of the Mormon religion.
According to the DVD entitled, "8: The Mormon Propo$ition", the bigwigs of the Mormon church actually forced Morman members, after analyzing their income and expense levels as well as the amount of money tithed (yes, Mormons keep records of such things) , to pay their hard-earned money in the amount chosen my the church, to donate to the curch for the purpose of supporting a "State" function, Proposition 8 in California, which defined marriage as between one man and one woman. It was a covert interaction of the Mormon "church" choosing an amount of money the church thought each of its individual members could afford to support a "state" cause. And those who refused were dismembered from the church. This defiance of "separation between church and state" might make Jesus vomit, but fur sure it makes me vomit. And also, as if "skin color" were a factor in anything that is otherwise "human" -- Mormons still behave as white supremists. And as if being female is an indication of any human potential -- priest or otherwise -- ignores the facts of pretty much everything that can be seen and proven right in front of any of us. So, so stuipd and backwards. If it weren't against civil conduct, I would slap every Mormon who ever got out of line with me, "pretending" they are somehow "better" or "more chosen" than I (or anyone else) .
I can't take this type of church or action seriously. It is worthy of being spit upon, not my freshly-cleaned toothbrushed mauthwashed mouth spit, but after days of no oral hygeine with unmedicated strep throat, flu, bronchitis, sinusitis and tuberculosis to boot. I didn't create the hate here, the Mormon church did. All I can do is sit back and hope that when they destroy themselves, it doesn't hurt the individual Mormons who have been abused by their own religion, and victims of their own ignorance.
