Kills Bugs Dead

I do suppose there is design
To this world we live in,
And here I am considering
Some thoughts explained herein...
We all must think it's fine to grow
Our flowers, herbs and plants;
But what about the little ones,
Like aphids, grubs and ants?
A flower blooms to life and then
One little critter shows,
All Hell breaks loose and panic-strewn
Insecticide fast blows.
The insecticide claims: It Kills Bugs "DEAD"
And leaves me in dismay:
How in the world could bugs be killed
In any other way?
The plants are fine and lovely too
No thoughts how we behave
For killing off those little ones
Felled downward to their grave.
It's easy if one does not know
A critter's life one ends,
It's born and grows and simply tries
To live as life intends.
"Respect All Life" and "Harm No One"
Are words said by the wise,
Don't worry, I am guilty too --
And cause all wasps' demise.
Can't help but feel a little sad
For killing a little critter,
I do suppose there's life's design,
It's sweet, but sometimes bitter.
Where then, is the line of "harm"?
Between "do" and "do not" pass?
I'll tell you here and now, it's drawn
Before wasps sting my *ss!
