An Allegorical Account of Light and Darkness

Age Group: Adult
Light and Dark exist only together,
As we've known since times ancient past;
But Light can't exist without Darkness,
For with Light, Dark shadows are cast.
But Darkness is different indeed:
On this point I believe I am right,
It is Darkness that creates shared existence,
For Darkness exists without Light.
That's why Light's symbol is creation
In the void of Dark's reigning throne;
Light's shine is not truly intrusive,
Darkness wants not to be alone.
