Drugs Are The War

There ain't no 'war on drugs'.
See, drugs are the war.
They got friends killing friends,
And kin turning bad on kin.
And every bit of it being sold
Ain't nothin' but a battle for the soul.
It grips you,
Wrings you,
Sets you out to dry,
And leaves you there to die.
So listen up, you,
I'm laying it out on the line.
I done seen all this,
And what you talkin ain't but sh*t.
'Cuz, if it was cool, then why
Ain't so many here who stupidly died?
Friends of mine who once hung around
Thanks to drugs buried deep in the ground.
Done.
That what you want?
That your goal for yourself?
Better show some respect,
And open up to what to expect.
Realize what is illusion,
And get rid of that sorry confusion.
War on drugs?
Drugs are the war.
Don't be no casualty,
Get down with reality.
