Wind Whispers

Depth of darkness within my mind
Wailing in the dark blue velvet
Of my innermost night
Welling up as regular as tide
Casting my consciousness upon the sea
Sea
Deep thunderous roar
Sonorous voice resounding
Teeming with life
Filled with abundance
Unseen
Unseen, except you seek
Seek beneath the face of the waters
Waters are the veil
Veil of unknowing
Veil of forgetting
Veil of beginnings
Veil of birth
Litany resound
Litany of source
Journey within over the Source
Cry out for the sake
Of that which reaches in
Hands stretching skyward
To touch ephemeral clouds
Changing, changing, always changing
Contorting into omens
For eyes unknowing
Eyes that do not search
I search the heavens for meaning
Contracting within
Seeking for meaning
Meaning of the forgotten
For what was once known
And locked behind a mystery
Cross this being with unbeing
And watch the mists
As they pass into the past
While wind whispers
What was
For tomorrow...
