When a Witch Cries

Age Group: Adult
When a Witch cries,
The Moon closes her eyes
and weeps through the gentleness of soft clouds
The forest fades into a silence
where only thoughts can be heard
And the night stands still in the emptiness of time
where even the birds
have forgotten how to sing
But the roaming clouds will surely fade
as their rain washes away the pain
Dawn's morning light will bring back nature's joy
with new hope promised in the bird's joyful song
Because happiness has always been right there,
and will forever wait for you,
on the other side of your shadow
Tomorrow will caress this night away from its darkness
I believe this to be true
because I believe in you
(And I love you, too...)
And I know,
for every tear that has fallen from your beautiful face
...another flower will bloom.
