Never Give Up on Magick

My friend and I were talking once
About why Magick works.
Deciding Magick's far more than
A spell that's filled with quirks.
Though some think Magick "gets" you things,
It's also what you give.
It's everything you ever do,
A natural way to live.
I saw the nearby flowers and
Each had a honeybee.
The complex plans for honey
Never were point "A" to "B".
I saw a blind man cross the street,
His dog's a seeing eye,
Realistic knowledge works with faith
As long as you stand by.
I saw a bird fly to her nest
With such a perfect landing,
And knew her past mistakes advanced
Her flight plan understanding.
I realized Magick's simple
Though some make it hard to weave,
But more than that I realized
It will work when you believe.
My friend and I, we took a breath,
For Magick's not a myth!
The answer from an age-old wish
Is what we came up with:
Magick helps you learn and love,
And live to see the stars,
From breaking down to build anew,
It's this friendship of ours.
It matters not, the change you want,
It matters not, your skill,
Just add a wish to learn some more,
And every time... you will! :-)
