The Magick of Nine Totems

Age Group: Adult
Above me is a quiet Snake
He heals through wisdom's fire
And guards my otherwordly paths
Eternity shan't expire
Below, a clever Beaver works
He builds the path of teams
Foundations stand the test of time
Together we build dreams
To the North I have a Red-tailed Hawk
To scout ahead with skill
Life's messages found everywhere,
Soul's purpose to fulfill
To the East I have a Dragonfly
The spirit world surreal
Some things are true and some are not
An anomalous ideal
To the South I have a Hummingbird
My inner child's song
We accomplish things impossible
With joyfulness, lifelong
To the West I have a stallion Horse
My journey to within
Unbridled, free, adventurous
Discoveries begin!
To my Right I have a Wolfy Wolf
My teacher, friend and guide
Protective, trusting inner thoughts
He's never left my side
To my Left I have a Stag named Doe
So gentle is his course
To touch and heal the hearts and minds
With love instead of force
And Within I have a Poochie Dog
A friendship to forever remain
To serve and love so selflessly
Without a thought of gain
My Totems have forever been
And forever will they be
My best friends on the Spirit plane
And that I guarantee :-)
