Caring Friendships

Friendships of all kinds
Different with each one
Diversely thinking minds
Life's puzzles overcome
The absence of commotion
When healthy minds agree
No preconcieved notion
About who each should be
No molds to fit within
No superficial fluff
No dissention or chagrin
We all are good enough
To live and to let live
No insecure control
True friendships always give
Reminders that we're whole
Surrounded on all sides
By friends who care for me
We're all each other's guides
And forever we shall be.
Author's Notes: It never ceases to amaze me how wonderful people can be at times, both near and far, who take a moment to remind me I have never been alone, though my choice is usually to be alone. And then, the rare moment I reach out for support, I find myself suddenly surrounded by many who care, almost like a surprise birthday party. Of course any issues I have, I must deal with on my own; but, it is so nice to feel the presence of others who offer that kind word that means so much. :-)
