Understanding False Accusations

I love to be accused of things
That I have never done
The fortune that it always brings
Has never been outdone
The people who don't like me
Try to find my every fault
But honesty within my heart
Protects me from assault
My innocence has already won
Before I'm even judged
For them next time won't be so fun,
With reputations smudged.
And so I sit without a care
No effort to defend
For in this game of truth or dare,
The Truth wins in the end.
Author's Notes: Each time someone makes a false accusation, they are drawing attention to themselves that begs for the claims to be supported with truth -- and when such support does not exist or cannot be provided, everyone will make a mental note that the accuser's future accusations will probably be as credible as a rotten turnip. If you have done nothing wrong, then by all means say so, both accurately and truthfully, and then sit back and patiently wait for the person who made the false accusation to fall in their own trap of not being able to support their false claims. Let that be your peaceful response displayed to others who are waiting for the truth to be known.
