Forgiveness

Forgiveness is not easy
When someone's done you wrong
They say that you must do it
To move your life along
But I've discovered something
Throughout the course of livin',
Most are prepared to forgive,
But not to be forgiven.
Because to be forgiven
Means they are at fault too,
Both sides must take the blame,
To tango it takes two.
But for this very reason
A suggestion I may send,
Don't tango any longer,
So it can all just end.
They'll stay mad if they want to,
But you can be absolved:
You need only forgive yourself,
Then declare the issue resolved.
