Why Should I Worry?

Age Group: Adult
Why should I worry what they see,
How I appear to them?
They do not know me well enough
To judge me or condemn.
Why should I worry what they think,
Or let them ruin my day?
It only goes to show that they
Don't "think" much anyway.
Why should I worry what they say,
When they are not my friend?
I let them gossip all they want;
Truth comes out in the end.
Why should I worry what they do,
It only makes me laugh.
For what they do can only be
Assigned to their behalf.
Why should I worry if I'm not
A part of their commune?
I'm whole already, and their day
Is coming very soon.
Why should I worry ever at all,
When I'm just being me?
I've finally learned to like myself
And it has set me free.
