Thank you for listening
When no one else would hear
Thank you for seeing
When my beauty comes near
Thank you for loving me
Though at times I'm not the best
Thank you for caring
When I face opposition from the rest
Thank you for everything
You've ever given to me
I promise you, my friend,
I shall give it back times three.
Author's Notes: You know, my friendships have always given me back far more than I have ever put in to them. It is a wonder my friends care for me so much. But then again, they know I love them because they are beautiful people. And they know, that like my Inner Totem, the Dog, I will forever remain loyal to them, even if at times I have a tendency to stray. Believe me, I know where home is. It's where the heart is.
