Indifference

I find at times
That I make rhymes
In states of nonchalance;
Although I see
He's after me
I offer no response.
I lose the strife
And live my life
Avoiding his ensconce;
He may be there
But I don't care
I offer no response.
My friends love me
And we agree
It's like a renaissance;
I keep the jewels
Ignore the fools
And offer no response.
To challenge me
With his debris
Is what he really wants;
But I won't run
And he'll get none,
I offer no response.
He wants the most
To be my ghost,
A ghost that always haunts;
I'll turn my back
Avoid attack
And offer no response.
It's really great,
I'm in a state
Of total nonchalance;
Perhaps he'll learn
There's no return,
I offer no response.
