Warm Heart in Autumn

It's cold and raining outside...
Summer is gone and Fall is here
The leaves fall from the trees
The flowers wither away
The skies are gray and dark
Clouds hide the moon and stars
And when I go outside,
In moments I begin to shiver.
But deep inside my heart
I think of what you mean to me,
The love you have shown
And your smiling face
Although I look through the window
And see the outside world fading
As the death of Winter approaches,
I know one thing...
I will be with you again soon.
And somehow,
Despite the chill in the air
My heart feels warm inside.
And as I look at this changing season,
...because of you
I can only see how beautiful it is.
