Lost Kingdom

How can they say such things to one another,
Those who should call each other "brother"
But bomb each other instead? How stupid.
How very, very, very stupid.
I cannot understand their revelations of hate
I cannot support their bomb-laden debate
So what happened to rule by heaven's law
Or good news that ancients heard and saw?
No voice from those days.
No proof of better ways.
Remain there to give it holiness,
All that's there is given spirit-less
It is no wonder
That people wander
When they search for what is right
And seek after a brighter light
Than that which they, there, have seen
To be whipped by servants of Heaven-King.
So much for revelation we were given.
So should we search for things now hidden?
And call out, perhaps in vain, for wisdom
Lest we discover She fled the Kingdom?
And should the Veil of grace be lifted
And grain, from here on out, be left unsifted?
They preach condemnation.
They preach no mercy.
They preach no healing.
They preach poor to hell.
They preach rich souls sell.
They preach...
They preach...
They preach...
And somehow fail to listen
To the still small voice
That hides them in the cleft of the rock
And covers them with it's hand,
And hovers over water
And orders chaos by reason of reason
And prepares one table for our common feast
And teach the one lesson of love, no other,
That instead of bombs, we should say 'brother'.
