You can be tricked, yes you!
Are they smart enough to figure?
Very truly, and for me, exactly.
Clever and wise you are... maybe.
If surely as the fun exists,
You get an odd impressionable meaning.
Understand this old person's writings beyond.
This poem, one reading... hidden, obvious.
Author's Notes: This is just a little poetic experiment I thought I'd try for a change. :-) It's sort-of like a poetic square, where all the first words make the first line of another poem, all the second words make the second line of the other poem, and so on, such that the second poem is entirely hidden within the first one, although once translated, the punctuation changes for the second poem to accommodate the new word order and meaning. Although it's a bit disjointed and sporadic, it seems to work okay. If anyone knows the correct term used to describe this type of writing style, please let me know.
I guess I just didn't feel like writing a sappy love poem this time. ;-) I guess when everything seems to be going well in my life, I have the time to write about stuff that would cause many to just think I'm weird or something. Not weird, just bored, but in a good sort of way. :-) I need a diversion from having survived the recent holidays with relatives and returning back to work after a long vacation.
Now what would really be interesting is to see of other poets can make their own poetic works of art, like this one or of any type or writing style, except add some Pagan, Witchy, Magickal and/or nature-based meanings to them unlike I did with this trial poetic experiment. :-)
