Magick is...

Magick is many things
I can't describe them all
The lessons Magick brings
Experiences to recall
It depends on how you see
But one way I portray
A way of life to "be"
A meaning to convey
When each aspect is combined
Like neurons in the brain
Subconsciousness intertwined
More than I could explain
It's an emergent property
Combinations light the way
To an exponential degree
Beyond things of today
I can't describe them all

Author's Notes: As a brief side note, I really wasn't repeating myself in this poem. I intended it to be structured so that specific lines of different verses could be placed together in the order they appear to create new verses that have slightly different semantics, such that the original four verses make up eight verses when reorganized. Okay, so the poem is more academic than entertaining... but I'm sure some people will appreciate it and how it can relate to why Magick works. :-)
