The Witches' Rite

Age Group: Adult
Full are the moons, dark are the nights
Hidden from all eyes, the witches chant their rites.
A circle is cast to invoke and invite
Throughout the dark, it serves as a beacon of light.
Calling the quarters, East, South, West, and North
Summoning the spirits to come hence forth.
Invoking the Goddess, the power grows evermore
Her radiant light is now filling the circle's core.
Working their spells, their charms, their potions
Then raising the energy to set their magick in motion.
They dance with the dead, round and round the fire
With each chaotic move the energy grows higher.
Then with one final push, the energy is sent
So that the ripple of reality may now be bent.
Now the witches have long gone, and the fire has burned out
No sign of what took place herein and here out.
Silent they come, and silent they go,
Silent we be, every witch must know.
