Thank You
by Angel Lost Again
Age Group: Adult
We walked the woods that night
WillowWoman and StormKeeper around me
And all the bright spots in my sight
Distractions from the pain in me.
The woods were dark, the moon was bright
Energy showed plain
And all that was slipped into sight
and then back out again.
A circle they mentioned, a place they knew
"A place to tweak your mind a little"
A message on the wind that blew
An inkling of something I used to remember
A circle they showed me, a home I found
Instantly relaxed, instantly at ground
Time pased? What time? Passed? How?
Gone far too soon, but not for long
And I wanted to say thank you
Words seem so pale to say
But it was a different kind of touch
That healed my heart that way.
Author's Notes: More a memory of a healing done than anything else. The experience was...unique... and I'm sure they got a kick out of it. Words don't thank them for what they gave me that day. There's just nothing for it.
