The music starts
I can feel the beat through my body
The voices chime in
I can hear the expectation in the air
The night is warm
Dark is safe for me and mine
The wind kicks up
Father's voice adding to my whispers.
The moon is bright
Lights my way through abject terror
I make a wish
Mother's eyes upon my walk.
A climax of sound
One last reach out to the rest of the world
The music slows, stop.
The night is sated.
Author's Notes: A quick note after spring time night walks with a cd player. I love music....
