The gift i call a curse
by Ancient Shadows
Age Group: Adult
Lady mother of this place
you gave the gift of sorrow to our race
the dark seems a knowing face
this emotion i can not trace
It seems i'm malcontent
now i question your intent
one last time my will is bent
it seems now i lament
Please lady take this gift
this has set my mind adrift
through the darkness i move swift
Towards some unknown rift
Lady know i have seen your light
This a battle for my soul to fight
its outcome now reveals my fright
now i see the souls internal might
Thank you lady the truth i see
i understand my soul is free
now my soul has payed the final fee
I have found my souls internal tree
I would really like to have someone tell me what they think i am trying to improve my skills and refine this poem
