Hekate

Hekate, the Distant One, swept over me with her flock of the dead;
My soul uplifted on seraphim wings to join the angelic hosts of the damned.
And with eyes wide open in distance I see the darkness swallowing the sky;
Only the stars are able to break through, like tear drops standing frozen in time.
Something wicked this way comes, an illicit temptation that I'm unable to resist;
At the cross-roads meet the Children of the Night, inviting gothic fantasies.
And patiently I watch as the morning dawn bursts forth like fire unleashed;
Hekate, the Queen of the Night, so beautiful and terrible to behold.
