Fallen Angel

Fallen Angel So sad So ashamed,
He thought he was just, can he be blamed?
Falling from the heavens, to his personal hell below.
Wings ripped from his back,
Emotionally under attack,
Being punished for what he lacks,
Crying out his heart by the cold damp window.
He hasn't the strength to carry on or stand,
For he was torn from the great MotherLand.
Falling from the heavens to his personal hell below.
Living in regret,
Mourning what he'll never get,
Wishing he could just forget,
Crying out his heart by the cold damp window.
He knew it wasn't right,
He did it to avoid the fight.
Falling from the heavens to his personal hell below.
He broke the sacred rede,
Took the will from someone in need,
Condemned by his greed,
Crying out his heart by the cold damp window.
Author's Notes: I was thinking... "What would happen if someone broke the Rede...?" Then this popped into my head. I think it carries a powerfull message... There are ways to get things done while still making the right choices.
