The swordsmans path

by Magus Thorn Darkweaver

Age Group: Adult

A Swordsmen’s mind

"The spring brings cherry blossoms to comfort you the summer stars the harvest moon in fall and the powdered snow in winter all these things and the promise of them is what makes sake Taste so good" Seijuro Hiko’s words and my personal philosophy to live for the beauty of the world and do my part to right her many wrongs. The world is not divided as so many think but simply her inhabitants a swordsmen sees this but acts accordingly the students fight as the norm of the world but the masters seek to end the chaos that plagues these lands a self-destructive endeavor one may think but styles that defend the weak and change the world thrive in the end of chaos Yoma-kari is such a style as the soul heir of that school and the only living master I continue throughout my time in the hopes that my style may bring these chaotic times into peace but when your opponent is the word its self the task is tiresome none the less I strive to it in one aspect people do not see until they see beyond their own eyes to the broad view a master swordsmen is a poet a philosopher a thinker and a doer more then just a warrior not just a mindless killer but one who wields his blade for his ideals unwaveringly and above all else I believe in this and that is how I live societies ideals have they’re flaws and to many times it is willing to break its own rules unacceptable to my frame of mind to follow what cannot be followed by its creators truth; to defend the weak and hold the strong to higher conduct; to insure that innocent blood not be shed; to live by ones ideals and die by them if necessary this is a swordsmen’s path But not just to right the wrongs of the world to enjoy and appreciate its beauty in nature to gain hope form the pure is also our nature and one to which we must be true the flowers of the earth the stars or the sky the flow of water all things in nature are wonderful common man has forgotten this and thus has lost their way in this world trying to tear at each other in useless battles over nothing and greed disgraceful and fulfilling no purpose but the death of innocent people some are truthfully lost in their own gain to see the damage they cause honor and justice power and mercy these are a swordsmen’s ideals too see the unseen truth in all matters to temper justice with mercy and power with humility that is what separates a swordsmen for the rest of this worlds soldiers and why we have watched over the world for eons on and on down the millennia my beliefs are my life and that is the truth to surrender is not an option to bow to anyone who stands for the degradation and darkness that plagues this world is un acceptable to me and I shall not ever back down from my code I shall die upholding the principals of Yoma-kari the demon who defends the weak and shall pass it on to my successor when one shall be found brotherhood among the masters has kept us unified many set aside their rivalry to work to the good others to their ideals my two brothers and I live by our codes and see the hope for humanity through this war but that thought keeps us going "The spring brings cherry blossoms to comfort you the summer stars the harvest moon in fall and the powdered snow in winter all these thins and the promise of them is what makes sake Taste so good this has been the words of Yoma-kari heir and master “Yoma” Kisuke “Black-lotus” Thorn
