Beltane Love

The time has come again
As it has in times before
The night when we join
As Man and Woman in ancient lore
You heard my song in the trees
I felt your touch on the wind
"Come to me, " you whisper
"Be with me, " I reply
And at last light we met
and joined as One again
Our will became Their will
And we moved as They move
I, the Mother
You, the Father
Bound by Love and embraced as One
The Beltane Fire arose
bright as Sun
Setting our souls ablaze
And we danced the sacred steps
of Lover's Dance
We spiral through time together
My love was yours
and yours was mine
Now the world awakes
And we depart
Until next time
Author's Notes: This year's Beltane was indeed exciting for me considering this was the first year I actually was allowed to celebrate it. I tried to make this as PG as possible but I felt this was something that should be read.
