I stand alone in the forest,
Gazing out at the sea.
Hot sun blazing down
As leaf shadows shade me.
The breeze, as a whisper,
Drifts through the trees,
While under my feet
Is a carpet of leaves.
That which surrounds me
In the hush of the day,
Is the spiritual silence,
I accept as my way.
Earth is the floor
Of the forest serene.
Air is the breeze
In the treetops so green.
Fire is the sun
With bright shining beams,
Water is here
In the ocean and streams.
Spirit surrounds me
It holds and embraces
Everything here
In these sacred places.
The elements stir
The sensations I feel
As I live every day
In the turn of the wheel.
