Ginnunga Gap
by Singing Crow
Age Group: Adult
Between the raging fire
And the ice’s cold chill
A great steam will perspire
All darkness shall it fill
They stand so far apart
Mighty Giver, Wise Taker
The waiting pains my heart
“Come together, Life-Maker!”
This wide space is so painful
The rift must be crossed
To end distance so baneful
All restraint shall be lost
They clash in steam glorious
In ecstasy they spasm
With bold rush victorious
They fill the Yawning Chasm
In the warmth of the Sun
And the glow of the Moon
Let all waters flow to One
Where all Life may bloom
