Why the God Smiles . . .

Age Group: Adult
I enjoy the flowing motion of her smooth auburn hair
Those soft, light red falls surrounding a face fair
Sparkling blue pools above freckled pale cheeks
As gentle and as kind as the voice with which she speaks
Red lips resonating clearly contemplated though
A rare, subtle grace which cannot e'er be bought
Quiet and shy manner, tennis shoe toes point together
Beauty to be dreamed of gliding o’er the heather
Does she know she is the Goddess, whose tenderness is power?
May every woman know it, every day and every hour.
Author's Notes: I wrote this back at college while watching a girl present for an English Theory class. I have been asking the Goddess to make Herself more clear to me . . . and She did.
