DANCING TO THE DRUMS OF THE EARTH

Dancing to the sound of music
the beat
the drums
as their echo waves
through my body
I listen, my soul, my body temple
my heart permeates with electricity
a pulsing fire that burns
through my blood
I dance, and as I move
with excitement and grace
I dance as if dancing
for the world
To show my passion
with my emotion in my body
It feels so good to be in this body
To breathe through life as
the echos of desires and
feelings rise to be seen and
be heard, felt
music touches me
as a mother touches her baby
caressing, comforting, caring
passion and a filled heart
in the drummer
fills my heart as the dancer
to share love to who will see
those who observe, look, have
their eyes open
will benefit because they chose to be a part
of this sharing,
this glory
The gratefulness of life.
