With Emotion

Some people make much of doing things with emotion. In fact, in some circles unless one performs with enthusiasm their effort is unacceptable. Consider the statements of some football coaches who will not use players unless they perform with fire and emotion.
When one works enthusiastically one runs several risks. As we all know, even in the most motivated, emotion eventually fades and has to be resurrected. The real danger, however, lies in the fact these people become over reliant upon emotion, one way of operating, and never fully recognize the interelationship between different factors.
In order for an effort to be successful, a number of factors must be aligned. Emotion is one variable connected with effort and success. More often, what is required is right effort, at the right time and with the right people.
Someone who knows what they are doing and is a Master, keeps emotion in balance and proceeds in accord with the conditions described above.
