My favorite time of year
is coming very soon
where there is no need for a jacket
when you walk beneath the moon.
The leaves are on the ground
with squirrels everywhere
looking for food
maybe an acorn here or there.
The chill has left the earth
with warmth in the wind
you feel like running through the grass
just like when you were a kid.
It comes just once a year
and then when it is gone
it has disappeared and again
frost is on the lawn.
Author's Notes: Just felt like writing about my favorite time of the year.Blessed Be Everyone!!
