Samhain

Age Group: Adult
There's clouds that don the night sky
Devoid of it's companion,
The sweet fluorescent light
Of our mother moon,
Gone for the evening.
Wind rustles the leaves above
Then silence falls upon the world.
Hearts beat faster, faster
As drums fill up the air
Pounding out the rhythm of the universe.
Feet hit the ground matching the tempo
And so the dancing begins
And so the chanting starts
And so the world begins again.
The veils break down between the worlds
Magick mixing in the blood
Of all those who suround the fire.
Samhain, Samhain, the brand new year
Fill up my soul with the music of the night
Dance with me, sing with me
Join me now here in my circle
And fill me with your hope
For all the things that are to come.
Teach to me the Mysteries
Of all that lies hidden beneath the surface
Show me the Mystery of
All Hallow's Eve.
