Lover's Rhythm

Lover's Rhythm
Calm the waters
Upon this stream
The sun I swallow
And all is serene
Warmth he sends me
Unto the dying light
Raised her wind
And birds take flight
Golden flowers
Swaying to the wind
The beat is coming
I rock within
Upon the mountains a distant call
Causing ripples in the river
And there I go enthralled
She brings me webs
To mate my dreams
Unto the lady white her cream
He comes as thunder
And she as the soothing rain
Eight she came
Left and right again
Hail I call out!
In my mind
My secrets deep
The web to find
And the chill of winter
Comes stars to kiss
And here I journey
The drummers kiss
Rhythm of the thunder and rain
Rhythm of the winged birds came
Rhythm of the earth and seeds
Rhythm of the skies, horizons bleed
Merging as one
In a rhythmous succession
Turning the wheel of life
In an intoning progression
