White Buffalo Woman

I am the wind
And I am silence within
Barren the land was
Washed free from living
And death held bones fixed tight
On that nite and every day and nite
Go forth and go right
My land thunder beneath and around
I with hoof and horn
Hear my sounds
My hair as the color of the ash tree
And brown my eyes color of the layers
Beneath me
And I am sacred
Sacred is my way
Sacred is the circle
Sacred still this day
And white becomes the womans eyes
Enter and see me there
White fur warm against you
The seeds to plant
See the white hare
I am with he
Power of the Sun
Strength as the spirited one
Is set to be free
Free as the eagle
Free as the morning dove
Free as the billowy clouds
Shining one
Heavens sent and the well floweth
To love and to knoweth
Bleed free thus floweth
My womb
Great Spirit stands you up
And sets you down
Feel my breath
Become my world all around
I am White
Hear my sound
