Gaia keeps on giving

Age Group: Adult
Hail to all the creatures
Of Blessed Mother Earth
Those near extinction
Death and Birth
If it were not for the creatures
I would not be here
They allow me sustenance
To survive each year
Gaia keeps on sighing
I hear her in the wind
Gaia keeps on crying
Her water flows within
Gaia keeps on giving
Her soil is my skin
Gaia keeps on living
Her death will come again
Are we coherent as humans
Or have we demented our thoughts?
Evolving are our children
How nourished, how begot?
And as the creatures, our jewels
Are plucked away from earth
I pray that we all hear the words
Of our coming
Spiritual Rebirth
Gaia keeps on sighing
I hear her in the wind
Gaia keeps on crying
Her water flows within
Gaia keeps on giving
Her soil is my skin
Gaia keeps on living
Her death will come again
