Visions for Tomorrow

Now that I have come to the end; I see that it is just another beginning. One thing ends and another begins. This is the way of life. Why did I think it would be any different for me? I guess I was just too busy raising my family, working, and doing all those things that fill our days. Yet, there were always the quiet moments when I could be with my Friend . . . And there was love that carried me through the hard times and joyous moments to celebrate.
In the next place, I wonder who I will be. Will there be a beginning, middle and end? Or just one moment of Being that extends into eternity; I learned that here. As a ray of Light from an eternal sun I danced home whenever I could. Sometimes, it was in my wife’s arms; sometimes it was helping my children walk. Other times, it was to help my fallen brothers laugh: traveling beyond their illness. Yes, many times those moments stretched into eternity.
Here I am again at this place, standing on top of the hill, watching the clouds travel across the sky. Waiting and wondering: what is the next phase? Yet, can it be grandeur than this one?
In this moment, connected to everything, again, I am a child of Light; who will forever
shine through the long, dark night.

When tomorrow’s children dance across the stars
And play from galaxy to galaxy
We will be there.
When tomorrow’s children join the sun
And travel to creation’s moment
We will share the joy.

The wealth of humanity amazes me.
There are more people
Than stars in the evening sky.
More blood flows through the hearts of man
Than splashes against the river shore.
Imagine if each heart
Were aglow with Love.
The Light would shine across the galaxy.
God would turn to the angels and say:
The Light of humanity
Is the morning sun.
Prepare my chariot.
My children await me!

When I am no longer here
I will have become a ray of Light
Traveling through the air.
I will dance and sing
Before the smiling King.
My body will be no more
And through the galaxy I will soar.
A spirit of radiant love
That will glisten on the universal seas.
Reflecting God’s Light for all eternity.
