The Higher Road

Most travelers make religion and spiritual learning too complicated of a thing.
Most spiritual/religious teaching can be summed-up by the First Commandment.
• Thou shall love and honor thy Lord, thy God, will all thy heart and soul.
And for those travelers who do not accept a traditional view of God and even argue God’s existence- let’s reshape our statement a little.
• Thou shall love and honor all the creation, along with our own higher attributes; seeking the highest possible outcome in everything we think and do.

One day sit down and number all the things you are concerned about. Make a list and leave nothing out.
These things, which make-up your list, are your gods. They are the things which fill your
consciousness; instead of the Beloved.

What bit of advice to offer your children? Love God and serve your fellow travelers.
