What Remains? (3)

1) Summer Nights
On summer nights
I hear a whisper to walk outside.
In time, I stop to feel
The cool breeze caressing my face.
Slowly, I dissolve
Into the infinity about me,
And become a particle on the wind.
A warm glow guides me-
And I am One with the cosmos.

2) Living a Dream
Become a mountain stream
And free the valley people of thirst.
Laughingly glide over immobile stones and stumps;
That is living a dream.
Become an eagle and soar above the earth.
Make your home on the highest peak.
Live on the wind and adorn the sky.
That is living a dream.
Realize each is part of nature
And where we fit into this theme;
That is living a dream.

3) What Remains?
And the day will come
When all the things we cherished
Will have passed.
We shall stand Naked
Before the King
And He/She will ask:
What Remains?
And from the depth
Of our heart
Will come forth a loving whisper:
O Lord, You are the Eternal Reality.
