We do not but we must

Age Group: Adult
We do not sleep
Sleep is for the week
We do not eat
Eating is for the hungry
We do not pray
praying is for those who repent
We do not go
that is for those who are sent
We do not wish
that is for those with dreams
We do not plan
that is for those who scheme
But….
We must sleep
For we must be strong
We must eat
for we shan’t be hungry
We must pray
so we need not repent
We must go
for we all have someplace we were sent
We must wish
for without wishes we have no dreams
And we must plan
if we are to stop a horrible scheme.
We must do what
We must do
Because if we don’t
It will be our doom.
