You remind me how to love

You remind me how to Love
There are so many things
That reminds me how to love
The scent of your skin
The glow of your face
And that smile in your eyes
I remember that place
Now it may take me a moment
To say slow down
And take some deep breaths for awhile
Whenever this happens
I become vibrant and alive
As warm as the sun brings me to smile
And there is growth of the freshly planted seeds
Bursting as roots go upwards and outwards
And downwards to decree in three
“I am Gaia!” says she.
And you who are of words in your silence
You have acknowledged and have spoken to me
For this is the season of Spring be wild and free!
You remind me how it is to love
As smooth as the pale pink petals
Are wind swept from a magnolia tree
Always yes always you find a way to return back to me
You are the crystal moon rising above
I bring you to me
Down, down, down to me my love
As the swirling leaves rise and fall
And the field of robins there mating calls
As the ripples of water speak to me under your mist
You remind me how it is to love and how to resist
When you are asleep on the earth
I lift and awaken you as the morning sun
And I shall give you to her sadness
Sweet pale maiden of the spring
Your gift of love is not madness
But a strength that is mighty as he
And all the while I will dance as you dance
Miss Daffodil, beautiful yellow Maiden of grace
Comforted by love
And cherished by the fond memory of you
Gaia shining on every place
As the moon and stars and the earth and sea
This is how you remind me
How it is to love
