At the Crossroads

At the Crossroads
While traveling I abruptly stopped
Hard I went on my brakes
Screeching a horned owls halt
At once I look at signs
None in which seemed familiar to me
No North
No East
No West or South
Gave me much sense of direction
Nor did routes to interstates
Or a digital directed source
Where then was my force?
My guide to lead me on?
At the Crossroads
I needed to go home
But I was lost
At the crossroads
I prayed to a Goddess
No God did I want to show me
But the train kept on moving
Moving on towards its destination
From point A to point B
When it passed the gate opened
I could see to the other side
But how to get there
How could I get there?
I released the brake
And pushed gently on the petal
And kept on moving
On the path I was always
Meant to be on
Where Goddess became the God
And God became the Goddess
And the Great Spirit was both
Interchangeably in me
At the crossroads
There was no signs
Only a gate
That stopped me
And Halted me in Time
But the train kept on moving
It never stopped
From point A to point B
Blessed Be, So Mote it be!
