The many faces of the Goddess

I heard a woman speak today
Of how butterflies are her mother
She was convinced that they are her
A beauty as no other
I stood in silence and watched her smile
As she gazed at the unmoving moth
Taking her gently into the palm of her hands
Then setting her gently onto a soft linen cloth
There seemed to be an exchange
Of the love you see in a child’s eyes
The simple pleasure of healing
And how deeply she is disguised
I looked at the brilliant pattern of her wings
And seen that in it was love and beauty
Of Gaia and her healing ways
Where life and death is a sense of duty
It matters not to the Goddess of your faith
When she sees someone to heal
These are the many faces of her
Of butterflies and mothers and all that is real.

Author's Notes: There are many ways to heal. We see you as the branches of your life tree reaching out far. There is help and healing. There is peace. love and light. By the Goddess who illuminates our paths blessed be so mote it be!
